Privacy
for M for Memories
Effective May 6, 2026
This policy describes how M for Memories — a coloring-book keepsake app made by Alt Robot LLC, doing business as Playgraphs — handles your information. We wrote it plainly, because a policy you can't read isn't a policy — it's a wall.
The short version. M for Memories collects as little as possible. We never ask for your name, email, or location to use the app. Your photos are sent to our AI providers only to produce your coloring pages and are not retained afterward. The coloring books you save live only on your device. Anything we do store on our servers is anonymous and lives there only to help us improve the product.
Who makes M for Memories
M for Memories is made by Alt Robot LLC, a software studio incorporated in the United States and doing business as Playgraphs. Other products we build — such as WyrmWise — have their own privacy policies; this document covers only M for Memories. For privacy questions about M for Memories specifically, reach us at product@playgraphs.ai.
Note on the name: earlier drafts of this policy referred to the same product as “Little Days.” The app was renamed to M for Memories in May 2026 due to a name conflict on the App Store. The product, the company behind it, and the data practices below are unchanged.
What M for Memories collects
- Photos you choose to convert. When you pick a photo from your device to make into a coloring page, that photo is sent to our AI provider (currently Google Gemini, with Anthropic Claude evaluating the result) to produce the coloring-page line drawing. We do not store the original photo on our servers after processing completes.
- Anonymous session identifiers. Your device is assigned an anonymous UUID (via Supabase anonymous sign-in) so we can enforce rate limits and prevent abuse. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any other real-world identity.
- Usage metadata. Per-request data about AI conversions (timing, quality scores, retry counts) and per-flow event data (app opens, format choices, exports, feedback responses), each tagged with the anonymous UUID above. None of this includes the content of your photos or generated pages.
- Feedback you choose to send. If you tap “helpful” or “not helpful” after an export, we record your response along with small context about the session (format chosen, number of pages, etc.). Optional free-text feedback is stored as you wrote it.
- Waitlist signup, if you joined one. If you gave us your email at mformemories.com to be notified when the app launches, we keep that email, the date you signed up, and basic browser locale/user-agent metadata. This list is used only to email you when the app ships and is deleted on request.
What M for Memories does not collect
- Your name or phone number.
- Your location, contacts, or calendar.
- Device identifiers beyond what Apple provides by default.
- Anything from children directly — M for Memories is operated by parents and teachers, not by children.
- Your memory archive. Every coloring book you save in M for Memories lives only on your device, in the app's local storage. It is not uploaded to our servers. Saving a book to your Photos library through the app puts it in an “M for Memories” album on your device — we do not upload the image in the process.
How we use what M for Memories collects
- To operate the product — turn your photo into a coloring page, save your book on your device, generate PDFs.
- To enforce rate limits fairly so one user can't degrade service for others.
- To improve M for Memories — we read feedback, analyze which prompts produce better coloring pages, and fix errors we see trending in usage metadata.
- To email you the one time the app launches, if you joined the waitlist. We do not send marketing emails beyond that.
- We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train AI models beyond the immediate processing of your request.
Third-party processors M for Memories relies on
- Google (Gemini) — processes the photos you submit and returns a generated coloring page. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
- Anthropic (Claude) — evaluates generated pages for quality, an internal quality check we run before returning results. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Supabase — hosts the anonymous auth, rate-limit logs, event logs, feedback, and waitlist. Subject to Supabase's privacy policy.
- Vercel — hosts mformemories.com (this website) and serves it to your browser. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy.
- Apple (iOS) — handles the share sheet, Photos library access, and print. Subject to Apple's privacy policy as part of using their operating system.
Data retention and your controls
Anonymous usage metadata, feedback, and session identifiers are retained for as long as needed to operate and improve M for Memories, typically up to two years.
Your anonymous session may expire after long periods of inactivity. When that happens, your device is issued a new anonymous identifier — previous server-side records under your old identifier become unreachable from your device and are effectively un-linked from you.
Your local memory archive (the coloring books you've saved) is unaffected by session expiry and remains on your device until you delete the app or tap Reset M for Memories in the app's About screen. Reset clears everything your device controls. Remaining anonymous server records cannot be individually tied to you, and therefore cannot be individually deleted on request — but because they are not linked to your real-world identity, they are, for practical purposes, already disconnected from you.
If you joined the waitlist and want off, email product@playgraphs.ai from the address you signed up with and we'll delete the row.
Children's privacy
M for Memories is designed to be operated by adults — parents and teachers — to create keepsakes for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you are a parent and you have questions about how a keepsake you made on behalf of your child is stored, contact us at product@playgraphs.ai.
International users
Alt Robot LLC is based in the United States. If you use M for Memories from outside the US, your data may be processed on servers located in the US or in the regions our third-party processors operate. By using M for Memories you consent to this processing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “effective date” at the top of this page. Because M for Memories users are anonymous to us, we have no way to notify you directly; if you want to be sure you are reading the current policy, visit this page periodically.
